SUPERVISOR LABORATORIUM

Job Description

• Supervise daily laboratory operations to ensure all testing activities are conducted accurately, efficiently, and in compliance with quality standards.

• Lead, manage, and develop the laboratory team while ensuring adherence to SOPs and laboratory procedures.

• Review and verify test results to ensure the accuracy and reliability of laboratory data.

• Oversee the maintenance, calibration, and availability of laboratory equipment.

• Support the implementation and maintenance of Quality Management Systems (ISO 9001, ISO 14001), laboratory safety, and 5S practices.

• Conduct root cause analysis and coordinate Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) to address quality issues.

• Prepare laboratory reports and support internal, external, and customer audits.

• Coordinate with cross-functional departments to improve laboratory efficiency and maintain consistent product quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.

• Minimum 10 years of working experience, including at least 6 years in laboratory testing, analytical chemistry, quality control, or the oleochemical/manufacturing industry, and 3 years in a Laboratory Supervisor or Quality Control leadership role.

• Strong knowledge of laboratory testing methods and quality control principles.

• Proficient in operating laboratory instruments, including GC, ICP, AAS, moisture analyzers, and titration equipment.

• Strong leadership, analytical, problem-solving, and Root Cause Analysis/CAPA implementation skills.

• Familiar with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, laboratory safety, and 5S practices.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint); SAP experience is an advantage.

• Good communication skills in English.
