With more than 50 retail stores across Java, Bali, Sumatra, Sulawesi, and Nusa Tenggara—supported by rapidly growing digital and marketplace channels—ZUMA is entering an exciting new phase of national expansion.
We are looking for a commercially driven and highly strategic Marketing Manager to accelerate brand growth, increase customer acquisition, strengthen store traffic, and build integrated marketing campaigns across retail and digital channels.

You will work closely with Creative, Product, E-Commerce, Retail Operations, Branch, and Finance teams to ensure every marketing initiative is relevant, well-executed, and commercially effective.
This role is ideal for a marketer who is equally comfortable discussing brand positioning, campaign ideas, marketing budgets, customer data, store performance, and return on investment.
What You Will Own
Marketing Strategy & Brand Growth
Develop and execute annual and quarterly marketing strategies aligned with ZUMA’s business and expansion goals.
Translate brand and commercial objectives into integrated marketing calendars and activation plans.
Strengthen ZUMA’s market positioning and relevance among target customers.
Identify new growth opportunities across retail stores, marketplaces, social commerce, communities, and partnerships.
Develop customer acquisition, retention, and reactivation initiatives.
Integrated Campaigns & Product Launches
Lead the planning and execution of seasonal campaigns, product launches, promotional programs, and brand activations.
Build integrated campaigns across social media, paid media, KOLs, affiliates, marketplaces, retail stores, events, and partnerships.
Ensure every campaign has clear objectives, audience targets, timelines, budgets, and performance indicators.
Coordinate campaign execution across Head Office and branch teams.
Evaluate campaign results and turn insights into stronger future strategies.
Retail & Store Marketing
Develop marketing programs that increase store awareness, customer traffic, conversion, and repeat visits.
Plan regional and store-level activations based on local market opportunities.
Support new store openings, store relaunches, promotional events, and local partnerships.
Monitor performance by store, city, region, and campaign.
Work closely with Retail Operations and Branch Managers to ensure effective execution at store level.
Digital Marketing & Customer Acquisition
Oversee digital marketing strategies across Meta, TikTok, Google, marketplaces, and other relevant platforms.
Manage paid media planning, audience targeting, campaign optimization, and budget allocation.
Develop strategies for KOL, influencer, affiliate, and community marketing.
Monitor customer acquisition performance, conversion, cost efficiency, and channel contribution.
Collaborate with the E-Commerce team to align marketing activities with online sales targets.
Performance, Analytics & Budget Management
Manage the marketing budget and ensure disciplined allocation across channels and campaigns.
Track key marketing metrics such as traffic, reach, engagement, conversion, customer acquisition cost, return on advertising spend, and campaign ROI.
Build clear and actionable marketing performance reports for management.
Use customer, sales, and campaign data to identify opportunities and improve decision-making.
Recommend budget adjustments based on performance and business priorities.
Team & Cross-Functional Leadership
Lead, coach, and develop the marketing team to deliver high-quality and timely execution.
Set clear priorities, performance expectations, and accountability within the team.
Work closely with Creative and Design teams to develop campaign assets that support marketing objectives.
Collaborate with Product, E-Commerce, Retail Operations, Branch, Sales, and Finance teams.
Build an agile, data-driven, commercially focused, and collaborative marketing culture.
What We Are Looking For
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Management, or a related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in Marketing, Brand, Growth, or Integrated Campaign Management.
Minimum 2 years of experience leading a marketing team.
Experience in retail, lifestyle, fashion, footwear, beauty, FMCG, consumer goods, or other customer-facing industries is strongly preferred.
Strong experience in developing marketing strategies and integrated campaign calendars.
Hands-on understanding of Meta Ads, TikTok, KOLs, affiliates, marketplaces, and digital customer acquisition.
Strong commercial mindset with the ability to connect marketing activities to traffic, conversion, and sales.
Comfortable managing marketing budgets and performance metrics.
Strong analytical, communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
Able to manage multiple campaigns and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Based in Surabaya or willing to relocate.
You Will Stand Out If You Have
Experience managing marketing for a multi-store retail business.
Experience supporting new store openings and regional retail activations.
Exposure to fast-growing local brands, D2C brands, or omnichannel businesses.
Strong understanding of customer segmentation, CRM, loyalty, and retention marketing.
Experience building marketing dashboards and performance reporting.
Proven success in improving store traffic, customer acquisition, conversion, or campaign ROI.
Experience working with marketplace, social commerce, and affiliate ecosystems.
