CAD Developer

About the Role

The CAD Developer is responsible for creating precise and production-ready 3D product designs in alignment with tooling technical packages, customer requirements, and framas Indonesia’s internal manufacturing processes. Reporting to the CAD Manager, you will collaborate closely with the Development team to refine design concepts, ensure data accuracy, and support grading processes for mass production.

This role plays a key part in translating design concepts into manufacturable digital models while maintaining high standards of quality, efficiency, and technical compliance.

Job Responsibilities

3D Design & Product Development

• Create 2D and 3D product designs based on tooling tech packs, customer technical requirements, and internal manufacturing standards.

• Update and revise design files based on feedback from customers and internal stakeholders.

• Ensure all designs are aligned with brand standards, technical specifications, and production feasibility.

• Continuously improve product quality through design optimization and refinement.

Job Requirements

• Education: Bachelor's degree from Product Design/equivalent work experience or a related technical field.

• Experience: 1–3 years of experience in CAD design, preferably in footwear, plastics, or manufacturing industries.

• Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in Rhino (intermediate level).

  • Basic knowledge of Grasshopper and Moldflow is an advantage.

  • Understanding of mold making, injection processes, and footwear manufacturing.

• Analytical Skills: Ability to translate design concepts into manufacturable and optimized 3D models.

• Communication: Basic to intermediate English communication skills (written and spoken).

• Soft Skills: Strong teamwork, problem-solving ability, adaptability, and proactive mindset.

Working Relationships

• Internal: CAD Manager, CAD Assistant Manager, CAD Development Specialist, and cross-functional teams (Development, Production).

• External: As required for project support or technical coordination.
