Key Responsibilities:
Responsible for daily geological technical work at the project site
Responsible for geological survey at exploration site, drilling site stakeout, geological logging of rock/mineral core, sampling, sample delivery, as well as geological database establishment, data entry, model updating, and resource estimation
Responsible for designing geological exploration plans and compiling geological exploration reports for the project.
Conduct periodic business travel/visits to mining project sites for supervision, data collection, and validation.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree (S1) or higher in Geology / Geological Engineering or a related field.
Mandatory minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in the nickel mining industry
Mandatory experience in field exploration, geological mapping, and managing exploration drilling programs (e.g., core logging, sample QAQC, etc.).
Mandatory proficiency in GIS software (ArcGIS, QGIS, etc.).
Mandatory proficiency in English (both written and spoken) for technical reporting.
Proficiency with geological modeling software (such as Surpac/Leapfrog) is a strong advantage.
Experience or strong understanding of resource estimation and calculation methods is a major plus.
Proficiency in Mandarin is an advantage.
