HSE Officer - Printing Ink - Karawang (B-130141)

About The Company:

• The working venue is in Karawang.

• Our client is a Manufacture (Printing Ink) company. Currently, they are looking for HSE Officer.

Job Responsibilities:

• Plan and implement HSE programs in line with company policies and Indonesian regulations (SMK3, ISO 14001, ISO 45001).

• Monitor daily safety, health, and environmental practices across plant operations.

• Conduct and supervise Behavior Based Safety (BBS) programs to improve safety culture and reduce unsafe acts.

• Ensure compliance with TKBT2 (Tenaga Kerja Bangunan Tingkat 2) requirements for working activities.

• Supervise and inspect scaffolding (perancah) installation, usage, and dismantling to ensure safety standards are met.

• Control and monitor confined space entry activities, including permit system, gas testing, and emergency preparedness.

• Perform Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment, and Control (HIRADC/JSA) for all operational activities.

• Ensure proper implementation of work permit systems (hot work, confined space, lifting, etc.).

• Monitor environmental aspects including waste management (B3 & non-B3), air emissions, and wastewater treatment.

• Conduct routine inspections, audits, and safety patrols to identify hazards and ensure compliance.

• Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses; prepare reports and corrective action plans.

• Deliver HSE training and safety inductions for employees, contractors, and visitors.

• Ensure compliance with government regulations and coordinate reporting to authorities (KLHK, Disnaker, etc.).

• Maintain HSE documentation, records, and reporting systems accurately and on time.

• Support emergency response planning, drills, and continuous improvement of HSE performance.

• Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

• Min. Diploma degree in Environmental Engineering.

• High Conversational English proficiency.

• Min. 5 years of experience as HSE Staff from any Manufacture.

• Certificated SMK3.

• Firm, Good work ethics, willing to learn, polite, strong communication skills.

Preferable:
Experience from Chemical Manufacture or Contractor.
Certificated K3 TKBT2, K3 BBS (Behavior Based Safety), K3 Confined Space (Ruangan Terbatas), Scaffolding.
Knowledge in Hot Work and Reactor.
