Job Title: Server Hardware Engineer
Reporting to: Server Engineer Manager
Location: Cikarang, Indonesia

Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and rack GPU/CPU servers under engineer supervision to ensure proper initial deployment and operation.

• Perform hardware troubleshooting and debugging for servers, including GPUs, CPUs, memory, storage, and network components.

• Conduct routine inspection and preventive maintenance of server hardware; document status and report abnormalities.

• Monitor server performance, system logs, and alerts to ensure system stability and uptime.

• Assist in diagnosing hardware and basic system issues (Linux-based systems), and support resolution processes.

• Handle work orders/tickets, follow up on issue resolution, and coordinate with internal teams or vendors when required.

• Manage spare parts replacement.

• Test and validate new hardware components based on standard procedures to ensure quality and compatibility.

• Support server deployment, upgrades.

• Maintain documentation for configurations, troubleshooting steps, and maintenance records.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, Telecommunications, or related fields. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.

• Basic understanding of server hardware architecture (GPU servers, x86 servers, storage systems, etc.).

• Familiar with Linux operating systems and basic commands (file system, process monitoring, networking basics).

• Understanding of data center operations and best practices is an advantage.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

• Fast learner, responsible, and able to work independently or in a team.

• Willing to work in Cikarang and open to occasional business travel.

• Good communication skills in English and Mandarin (spoken and written).
