Assistant Restaurant Manager (Asmen)

Location: Honeymoon Kitchen – Ubud, Bali

Honeymoon Kitchen is located within the beautiful grounds of Honeymoon Guesthouse on Jalan Bisma, Ubud. As part of the Casa Luna family, the restaurant is known for its authentic home-style Balinese cuisine, with several signature dishes inspired by recipes prepared in Janet DeNeefe’s own kitchen.

In addition to traditional Balinese favourites, Honeymoon Kitchen offers nutritious plant-based salads, light snacks, fresh health juices, all-day breakfast, handcrafted cocktails, specialty coffee, and freshly baked pastries from Honeymoon Bakery. With its warm, relaxed atmosphere, Honeymoon Kitchen provides a welcoming dining experience where guests can enjoy exceptional food and genuine Balinese hospitality.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of the restaurant.
• Lead and supervise the bar, floor service, and kitchen teams.
• Ensure excellent guest service and maintain food, beverage, and service quality standards.
• Organize staff schedules, conduct daily briefings, and monitor team performance.
• Handle guest feedback and resolve operational issues effectively.
• Work closely with management to improve operational efficiency and guest satisfaction.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Restaurant Supervisor, Assistant Restaurant Manager, or similar role in the hospitality industry.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Solid understanding of both Front of House and Back of House operations.
• Able to motivate, develop, and manage a diverse team.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to work under pressure.
• Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
• Willing to work flexible shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
