A leading and well-established FMCG manufacturer is seeking an accomplished Procurement Manager to lead strategic sourcing, supplier partnerships, and procurement excellence. This is an exceptional opportunity for a commercially driven leader to make a significant impact within a fast-growing and dynamic organization
Key responsibilities
Develop and execute strategic procurement initiatives that support business growth and operational excellence.
Build and maintain long-term partnerships with key suppliers while ensuring sustainable, competitive, and reliable sourcing.
Lead strategic sourcing, commercial negotiations, contract management, and supplier performance management across direct and indirect procurement.
Drive procurement transformation through cost optimization, value engineering, and process improvement initiatives.
Analyse supplier performance, conduct evaluations and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
Coordinate with internal departments including production, logistics and finance to ensure procurement aligns with organisational needs.
Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement while developing a high-performing procurement team.
Maintain compliance with company policies, procurement regulations and industry standards.
Prepare and present procurement reports, cost analyses and performance metrics to senior Management.
What we're looking for
Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum 5-7 years of proven experience in procurement, purchasing or supply chain management roles.
Strong knowledge of procurement processes, vendor management and inventory control methodologies.
Demonstrated experience in cost negotiation and achieving significant cost savings.
Deep understanding of procurement best practices, supply chain operations, inventory management, and ERP systems (SAP is preferred).
Excellent analytical, negotiation, leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Certification in procurement management (such as APICS CSCP or equivalent) is advantageous.
