Infrastructure Project Manager

Job Summary

PT. FPT Software Indonesia is seeking an analytical, highly disciplined Project Manager to lead the cross-functional, end-to-end deployment of a massive, distributed Enterprise CCTV and centralized Datahub solution spanning thousands of sites across multiple Indonesian provinces.

In this role, you will manage rolling front-end field deployments alongside secure back-end data center integrations. This position requires a master balancer capable of aligning stakeholder expectations with complex technical feasibility while ensuring strict compliance with PMO governance, SLA frameworks, Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) mandates, and national data privacy regulations.

Key Responsibilities & Operational Mandates

1. Scope & Execution Management

Decentralized Site Rollout: Oversee multi-province infrastructure installation waves distributed across dynamic geographical phases, including Jakarta, Banten, West/Central/East Java, and Yogyakarta.

Centralized Turnkey Delivery: Manage the deployment, configuration, testing, and commissioning of core infrastructure within a Tier-3 Colocation Data Center, integrating VMS, secure SD-WAN endpoints, edge firewalls, and storage arrays.

Change Management Control: Enforce a rigid Change Request (CR) process for all on-site modifications to system baselines, hardware, or structural designs to safeguard commercial margins and project timelines.

2. Progress Tracking, Governance & Reporting

Field Coordination: Ensure regional technical crews and subcontractors update progress metrics daily—including hardware verification, physical mounting, network synchronization, and telemetry validation.

Risk Mitigation: Proactively identify project risks and compile weekly blockage logs to isolate external operational dependencies (e.g., site unreadiness) and protect the company from penalty exposure.

SLA Management: Drive field execution to respect tight contractual timelines regarding layout mapping, setup windows, and rapid fault responses to minimize project liabilities.

3. Quality Assurance, Handover & Invoicing Compliance

Zero-Dispute Handover: Validate digital handover documentation per site; ensure billing requirements include completed structural checkoffs, formal client signoffs, and GPS/timestamp-tagged proof photography.

Commissioning Validation: Verify on-site edge parameters (camera resolutions, WDR, infrared, two-way audio, and local storage replication) against central network data hubs.

Capacity Testing: Lead industry-standard load-simulation test flows to verify central data systems despite physical site handover delays.

4. Operations, Maintenance & Supply Chain Mechanics

Field Diagnostics: Enforce a strict, sequential on-site triage process (power safety, network status, component checkups) prior to authorizing any device swaps.

Logistics Control: Coordinate component returns with manufacturers and Authorized Service Centers (ASCs) while monitoring regional buffer stock levels to automate replenishment.

Media Security Oversight: Maintain an absolute chain of custody during hardware and media swaps to prevent data leakage and ensure regulatory compliance.

5. Legal, HSE & Compliance Safeguards

Labor Compliance: Ensure all internal forces and subcontractors adhere strictly to regional labor mandates, legal checks, and national employment insurance registries (BPJS Ketenagakerjaan).

Safety Certifications: Restrict site access exclusively to technical crews who have completed mandatory safety training and brand certifications.

Job Requirements & Selection Criteria

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunication Engineering, Computer Science, IT, or a project management-focused business discipline.

Experience: Minimum 5 years of professional experience leading large-scale distributed infrastructure networks, telecom rollouts, or multi-site surveillance deployments in Indonesia.

Technical Competencies:

Functional understanding of enterprise network security, edge firewalls, and centralized NAS architectures.

Knowledge of civil foundations, grounding safety, power cabling, and physical outdoor layouts.

Practical familiarity with Indonesian Law No. 27 of 2022 (UU PDP) and regional labor regulations.

Certifications: PMP (Project Management Professional) certification is required. Technical infrastructure or agile credentials are a strong asset.

Language: Native Indonesian and fluent Business English (for English documentation and technical discussions with client representatives).

Soft Skills & Mobility:

Strong commercial negotiation and dispute resolution skills to coordinate diverse subcontractor networks.

Proven ability to act as the Client Single Point of Contact (SPOC).

Fully willing and ready to travel frequently to regional provincial hubs.
