Quantity Surveyor Staff

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare cost estimates, project budgets, and Bills of Quantities (BOQ).

• Prepare tender documents and support the tender evaluation process.

• Conduct quantity take-off and progress opname for project payment certification.

• Monitor and control project costs against the approved budget.

• Prepare and evaluate Variation Orders (VO) resulting from project changes.

• Prepare and negotiate final accounts with contractors and consultants.

• Review contractors' payment claims and verify work progress.

• Coordinate with Project, Engineering, Procurement, and Finance teams to ensure effective cost management.

• Analyze cost variances and recommend cost optimization measures.

• Maintain accurate project cost records and commercial documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor in housing, infrastructure, landscape, and MEP projects.

• Proven ability to prepare cost estimates, tender documents, progress opname, cost control reports, variation orders, and final accounts.

• Strong knowledge of quantity take-off, construction costing, and contract administration.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, AutoCAD and QS software are an advantage.

• Strong analytical, negotiation, communication, and problem solving skills.

• Detail oriented and able to work independently as well as in a team.
