Audit Supervisor

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, supervise, and manage multiple audit engagements across various industries.
• Plan and execute audit procedures in accordance with applicable auditing standards, accounting and principles.
• Review audit working papers, financial statements, and audit reports to ensure accuracy, quality, and compliance.
• Assess internal controls, identify risks, and recommend practical improvements.
• Coordinate with clients to obtain required documentation and address audit-related concerns.
• Coach, mentor, and develop junior auditors to ensure high-quality work and continuous professional growth.
• Monitor engagement progress, timelines, and deliverables while ensuring deadlines are met.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships and identify opportunities to expand professional services.
• Stay updated on the latest accounting standards, auditing regulations, and industry best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy or a related field.
• At least 3 years of Accounting/Audit experience, with a minimum of 1 year in a supervisory or managerial role.
• Strong knowledge of auditing standards, accounting principles, internal controls, and regulatory requirements.
• Proficient in audit/accounting software and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively manage client relationships and lead a team.
• Proven ability to handle multiple audit engagements and work efficiently under tight deadlines.
• Demonstrates professionalism, integrity, leadership, and exceptional attention to detail.
