About the role
PT Delonix Group Indonesia is seeking a Hotel Business Operations Manager – Reserved Unit to join our dynamic hospitality team. This is a full-time position based in West Jakarta, Jakarta. As Hotel Business Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the operational efficiency and profitability of our reserved unit whilst maintaining exceptional service standards and guest satisfaction. This role is pivotal in driving operational excellence and ensuring seamless day-to-day management of hotel operations, reporting directly to senior management and serving as a key strategic partner in the hotel's success.
Key responsibilities
Oversee daily hotel operations to ensure smooth functioning of all departments and adherence to company policies and procedures
Monitor financial performance of the reserved unit, including revenue management, cost control and profitability analysis
Supervise and coordinate with department heads across rooms, food and beverage, housekeeping and maintenance to optimise service delivery
Implement and maintain operational standards and quality assurance protocols to ensure guest satisfaction and loyalty
Manage staffing requirements, training programmes and performance management for the reserved unit team
Handle guest relations, complaints resolution and escalation management with professionalism and discretion
Develop and execute strategies to enhance occupancy rates, average daily rate and revenue per available room
Maintain comprehensive records, reports and documentation of operational metrics and performance indicators
Ensure compliance with health, safety and regulatory requirements across all operational areas
Collaborate with senior management on strategic planning, budgeting and business development initiatives
What we're looking for
Minimum 5 years of experience in hotel operations management or similar senior hospitality management role
Proven track record of successfully managing hotel operations, reserved units or specific property divisions
Strong understanding of hotel financial management, revenue optimisation and cost control strategies
Excellent leadership and people management skills with the ability to motivate and develop team members
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills with ability to build strong relationships with guests and staff
Proficiency in hotel management systems and Microsoft Office applications
Knowledge of hospitality industry standards, best practices and quality assurance protocols
Strong problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills under pressure
Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration or related field, or equivalent professional experience
Fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia; additional language skills are advantageous
Flexibility to work evening, weekend and public holiday shifts as required
