About the role
PT Heron Arsitektur Indonesia is seeking a talented and experienced Translator (Chinese/Indonesian) to join our dynamic team in North Jakarta. As a Translator, you will play a crucial role in facilitating seamless communication and collaboration between our Chinese and Indonesian partners, contributing to the overall success of our architectural projects.
What you'll be doing
Provide accurate and timely translation services between Chinese and Indonesian languages
Interpret verbal communications during meetings, discussions, and negotiations
Translate written documents, including contracts, proposals, and technical specifications
Ensure consistency and accuracy in terminology and language across all translated materials
Collaborate with project teams to understand context and provide tailored translation services
Maintain a thorough understanding of relevant industry terminology and practices
Contribute to the development and improvement of translation processes and tools
What we're looking for
Fluency in both Chinese and Indonesian languages, both written and spoken
Proven experience as a professional translator, preferably in the architectural or construction industry
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with diverse stakeholders
Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain consistent terminology and language
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Adaptable to changes and comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Comfortable working at construction sites
