Head of Supply Chain Thread (Bogor Based)

Role Purpose: 

·       This role is responsible for delivering the agreed set of KPIs for service, stock, operation efficiencies and budget through effective management of the local Supply Chain team in Bogor and Pleret Site.

·       The position also needs to drive for high level adoption of and adherence to global supply chain strategies and best practices in responsible markets

Principal Accountabilities:

1.      Instilling a positive, proactive safety culture to builds trust, engages employees in the safety process, enhance the focus on prevention of injuries and ensure all safety policies and measures are effectively implemented

2.      Act as the effective interface to ensure collaboration of various stake holders including but limited to central supply chain team, local Commercial/ Manufacturing, procurements to deliver common business goals

3.      Organize and manage the entire warehouse & distribution (FG/ RM/ DT/ GT/ MUM) activities – both in-bound and out-bound to meet compliance requirements, productivity, lead time, stock accuracy and cost targets

4.      Oversee all planning activities of raw material (Fiber / Filament and D&C / MUM) and grey thread supplied from local suppliers as well as material movements among responsible sites (Freight planning, intra-plant)

5.      Lead and coordinate all Supply Chain activities related for new product launch / product discontinuation in local markets

6.      Accountable for stock management (stock levels, SLOBs, valuations) in responsible markets

7.      Identify actions/ initiatives/ solutions required for service improvement and customer satisfaction and drive for implementation to meet target service KPIs (SOLT/ OTIF/ customer specific needs)

8.      Drive for locally adherence to S&OP processes and global established best practices

9.      Recruit, train, develop, manage and motivate the Supply Chain team to meet current and future organisational and market needs. Ensure robust people development and succession plans for own department

10.   Lead and execute relevant global and/or local projects to build a more agile, cost effective and sustainable supply chain 

11.   Actively participate in all H&S and Environmental programs.

12.   Use appropriate PPE as designated area.

13.   Report any safety or environmental incidents, including accidents, near misses, unsafe actions, and unsafe conditions.

1. Implementing all activity in their department in accordance with the environmental policy and developing corrective action plans with the ECCR when needed.

Key Qualifications:

•Education: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field. A Master's degree is an advantage

•The minimum of 10 years working experience with an excellent track record in different functions covering core process of Supply Chain, Procurement, Planning, Logistics, or Operations, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role

•Strong understanding of supply chain concepts, best practices, and planning methodologies, including S&OP, inventory optimization, and continuous improvement.

•Proficient in ERP and supply chain planning systems, particularly SAP (APO, OFA, SD, MM) and Warehouse & Distribution Management modules.

•In-depth knowledge of products and materials, with the ability to manage product complexity and optimize supply chain performance.

•Demonstrated ability to develop and execute supply chain strategies that drive business growth, operational excellence, cost efficiency, and service improvement.

•Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with the ability to leverage data to drive business outcomes.

•Proven leadership experience in managing, coaching, and developing high-performing teams, as well as leading cross-functional collaboration across Operations, Manufacturing, Commercial, Finance, and HR.

•Excellent stakeholder management, communication, negotiation, and networking skills, with the ability to influence senior leaders, suppliers, and external partners.

•Strong project management skills with experience leading transformation, digitalization, and process improvement initiatives.

•Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
