Job Description:
The Project Staff Wheels to Work project will be the lead person in organizing community members in the transportation and
logistics sector through the “The Good Riders Club”, toward income generation, savings mobilization
and social enterprise development. The role combines operational management, financial assessment,
education, and community engagement to support participants effectively.
The Project Staff is also in-charge in promoting safe and responsible driving and of sustainable
business practices - prioritizing social, environmental and economic responsibility among others.
Essential Responsibilities:
? Marketing and promotion of Wheels to Work Project.
? Recruitment, selection and organizing of program beneficiaries.
? Assess lan application, conduct of background investigation and endorsement of qualified
loan applications for approval of the microfinance manager.
? Assist the program partners from loan processing to loan release.
? Conduct of loan utilization check.
? On time collection of loan amortization/ payment and remittance to the office.
? Accurate record keeping and documentation of all transactions with the program partner.
? Awareness of the market situation and provide timely feedback to the management in order
to develop and keep our competitive advantage.
? Build and sustain a strong base of community partners for community mobilization.
? Actively participate in the implementation of the integrated community development program
of GNI Philippines.
Qualifications:
? Bachelor’s Degree in Cooperatives, Cooperative Management, Entrepreneurship, Marketing
or Microfinance (preferred but not required)
? Relevant experience in the same field is highly desirable.
? Work experience in an International NGO is an advantage.
? Strong discipline in loan processing, collection of payment and savings mobilization.
? Knowledgeable in group formation and community organizing.
? Able to conduct simple training for group strengthening.
? Leadership skills for staff management and community mobilization.
? Basic math and analytical skills to understand the story behind the numbers.
? Basic office management skill.
? Conduct of basic group operation and financial audit
