About the role
Reporting directly to the Creative Director, you'll play a key role in shaping how Odi looks, feels and shows up across every customer touchpoint. From packaging on supermarket shelves to ecommerce, campaigns and social content, you'll help define and elevate the brand as it expands across Australia and New Zealand. This is a hands-on role for a designer who combines strong brand thinking with exceptional execution. You'll have the opportunity to influence creative direction, contribute to new product launches and create work that reaches parents through retail, digital and marketing channels every day.
This is a fully remote role and can be based anywhere in New Zealand or Australia. We are focused on finding the right person for the role, regardless of location.
Key responsibilities
Help evolve and safeguard the Odi visual identity across all channels and touchpoints
Maintain and extend brand guidelines, templates and design systems
Lead the design and rollout of packaging across existing and future product ranges
Develop packaging concepts and production-ready artwork from initial idea through to print
Create compelling creative across ecommerce, social media, EDM, paid media and retail marketing
Develop campaign assets and content that drive engagement, awareness and conversion
Support new product launches with cohesive creative across multiple channels
Work closely with the Creative Director, marketing team and external partners to bring ideas to life
Manage multiple projects and deadlines while maintaining a high standard of craft and attention to detail
Help build efficient creative systems, workflows and asset libraries as the business grows
About you
5+ years' experience in a senior design role, ideally within FMCG, consumer brands, retail or ecommerce
A strong portfolio demonstrating excellence across branding, packaging, campaigns and digital design
Exceptional typography, layout, visual storytelling and attention to detail
Experience developing packaging artwork and working with printers, suppliers and production processes
Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop)
Strong proficiency in Figma; experience with components, libraries and collaborative workflows is advantageous
Experience with motion design, content creation and video editing is highly regarded
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
A collaborative, proactive approach and the confidence to take ownership of projects from concept through to delivery
