This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Designer to join our dynamic team located in the vibrant heart of New Plymouth. This permanent position offers the chance to be a driving force in expanding our business into new frontiers. As a Designer with us, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with a diverse range of clients and assist in driving our Design and Marketing team, to ensure the delivery of top-notch creative work across all communication channels.

Role Overview

This role is responsible for working within our Design and Marketing team to both understand client objectives and deliver design solutions that are not only creative, but also aligned with our brand identity and vision. This role will see you taking the lead on projects, ensuring they are executed to the highest of standards, maintaining consistency and appropriateness throughout.

Further key responsibilities include:

• Collaborating with a wide array of clients, from start-ups to larger corporate organisations, and providing design solutions that effectively communicate project aims, messages, and themes.

• Bringing innovation and fresh perspectives to the team, staying up-to-date with industry trends and design best practices.

• Being a valuable team member, sharing your knowledge and expertise to foster a creative and collaborative work environment.

The Ideal Candidate

To succeed in this role, you will possess a combination of different skills and abilities. You’re not only a creative thinker, but also a keen observer, possessing a sharp eye for detail that enhances the precision and quality of your work. 

Your communication and presentation skills are exceptional, enabling you to convey your creative ideas with clarity and impact. You have a proven track record of adeptly navigating and managing multiple projects and deadlines, ensuring a seamless flow of creativity and productivity.

Additional qualifications include:

• Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or a related field.

• A strong portfolio showcasing your diverse design work.

• Proficiency in industry-standard design software (Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, etc.).
