Product & Display Design Draftsperson

About the Role

Reporting to the Head of Sales & Marketing, you will be responsible for the drafting, documentation and ongoing management of Hunter Homes' product portfolio and display home network.

Your focus will be on creating practical, buildable and commercially successful designs while ensuring consistency across our plans, façades, display homes and supporting documentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, document and maintain Hunter Homes' standard product range, including single-storey, double-storey, acreage and dual living designs.

• Produce and maintain complete drawing sets for standard home designs and façade collections.

• Support the development and launch of new product ranges and design innovations.

• Draft and document display homes, upgrades and future display developments.

• Create sales and marketing plans for brochures, websites, digital campaigns and customer presentations.

• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Estimating and Construction teams to ensure product consistency and accuracy.

• Maintain drafting standards, drawing libraries and documentation systems.

• Support continuous improvement initiatives aimed at improving efficiency, buildability and customer experience.

• Provide technical drafting expertise across product development, display homes and business projects.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

• Experience in residential home drafting and documentation.

• Strong knowledge of Australian residential construction methods and building standards.

• Proficiency in drafting software such as ArchiCAD, Revit or similar platforms.

• Excellent attention to detail and documentation accuracy.

• Strong organisational and project management skills.

• The ability to work collaboratively across multiple departments.

• A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.

• Experience working with volume builders or production home environments will be highly regarded.
