Hiring: Chinese-Speaking Indonesian Game Localization Translator & LQA Tester (Freelance)
We are currently seeking a Chinese-speaking Indonesian Game Localization Translator & LQA Tester for a long-term game localization project.
Responsibilities
Translate game content into Bahasa Indonesia with accuracy, cultural relevance, and natural localization.
Review and verify translations within the game build to ensure context accuracy and consistency.
Conduct Language Quality Assurance (LQA) testing on localized game content.
Identify and report linguistic, terminology, UI, formatting, functional, and localization-related issues.
Ensure consistency of terminology, tone, style, and player experience throughout the game.
Collaborate with project teams to resolve translation and localization issues.
Deliver high-quality localized content that meets project standards and deadlines.
Requirements
Native Indonesian (Bahasa Indonesia) speaker.
Proficient in Chinese (Mandarin) for day-to-day project communication.
Previous experience in game localization, with the ability to provide a list of game projects worked on.
Hands-on experience with game LQA testing workflows and a solid understanding of standard LQA procedures.
Strong understanding of localization quality standards, linguistic quality control, and bug reporting processes.
Familiarity with localization tools and gaming terminology.
Strong interest in ACG (Anime, Comics, and Games) culture.
Familiarity with anime-style and gacha-style games is highly preferred.
Candidates who can independently handle both game translation and LQA testing are strongly preferred.
Compensation
Game Translation: RMB 150 per 1,000 source words
Game LQA Testing: RMB 90 per hour
