About the role
We are seeking a skilled Japanese Interpreter to join our clients. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality interpretation services between Japanese and English, facilitating seamless communication across our operations in South Jakarta, Jakarta.
What you'll be doing
Managing trainees from Indonesia, supporting them to adapt to the workplace, and doing administrative support duties.
Doing interpreting duties, mainly when assisting trainees, and becoming the mediator between clients and trainees.
Translating written materials such as contracts, reports, and correspondence between Japanese and English
Maintaining confidentiality and discretion when handling sensitive information
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication and smooth operations
What we're looking for
Bachelor's degree in any major
Experience working at LPK or LPK teachers are welcome to apply.
Experience working with technical intern trainees
Fluency in Japanese and holds JLPT N2/N1 (Mandatory)
Previous experience as a Japanese interpreter or translator.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with people at all levels
Excellent listening and note-taking skills
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
Proficient in the use of relevant translation and interpretation software and tools
Work location: in Japan
