Finance Manager

Job Summary:

The Finance Manager is responsible for overseeing the company's financial operations, ensuring the accuracy of financial reporting, managing budgets, maintaining internal controls, and supporting strategic business decisions. This role ensures compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies while leading the finance and accounting team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the daily operations of the Finance and Accounting Department.
• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Develop and monitor the company's annual budget and financial forecasts.
• Analyze financial performance and provide recommendations to improve profitability and cost efficiency.
• Manage cash flow, banking transactions, and working capital.
• Ensure compliance with Philippine Financial Reporting Standards (PFRS), BIR, SEC, and other government regulations.
• Supervise tax compliance, including the timely filing and payment of taxes.
• Establish and maintain effective internal controls and financial policies.
• Coordinate with external auditors, government agencies, and financial institutions.
• Review and approve journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reports.
• Provide financial analysis and reports to senior management for decision-making.
• Lead, coach, and evaluate the performance of the finance and accounting team.
• Perform other finance-related duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related field.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is highly preferred.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience, with 2–3 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of Philippine accounting standards, taxation, and financial regulations.
• Experience in budgeting, financial planning, cash flow management, and financial analysis.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting/ERP software.
• Excellent leadership, analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience managing finance teams in a logistics, transportation, or distribution company is an advantage.
• Strong decision-making and strategic planning abilities.
• High level of integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of ERP systems and financial reporting tools.
• Ability to present financial reports and recommendations to senior management and executives.
