About the role

RTW INDONESIA is seeking a skilled and experienced Pricing Specialist to join our dynamic team in our Jakarta Utara, Jakarta Raya office. As a Pricing Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective pricing strategies to optimise revenue and profitability for our shipping and transportation services. This is a full-time position that will play a crucial role in driving the company's commercial success.

What you'll be doing

1. Conducting market research and analysis to identify pricing trends and competitor benchmarks

2. Developing and implementing pricing models that align with the company's business objectives and market conditions

3. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure pricing strategies are consistent with the company's marketing, sales, and operational initiatives

4. Monitoring and evaluating the performance of pricing strategies, making adjustments as needed to optimise results

5. Providing pricing recommendations and insights to senior management to support strategic decision-making

6. Staying up-to-date with industry regulations, trends, and best practices to ensure the company's pricing remains competitive and compliant

What we're looking for

1. Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a pricing or commercial role, preferably within the shipping/freight forwading industry.

2. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and derive actionable insights

3. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex pricing information to various stakeholders

4. Proven track record of developing and implementing successful pricing strategies that have driven revenue and profitability growth
