Role Summary/Purpose:
Synchrony is continuing to build a world class creative organization committed to driving results with our retail and payments partners while also delivering leading customer experiences. Our Creative team is focused on creating and producing campaigns and content for digital channels. The Production Designer is responsible for digital creative, production and execution and will ensure the highest quality output in a timely manner. This position will focus on production needs such as interactive banners, social media, email, landing pages, etc. This role must be comfortable with a blend of digital production and print execution as well as being an out of the box thinker/conceptor. This position is remote
Essential Responsibilities:
Utilize a keen eye for detail and with a combined knowledge of both graphics and technical skills to layout, revise, and prepare print and digital graphic assets
Create and manipulate graphics through proficient knowledge of software including, but not limited to, Adobe Creative Suite with an emphasis on Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop
Take a design concept and apply the style across multiple sizes and formats
Format, review, collect and prepare creative assets for print and digital production
Assist exhibit design team with producing exhibit proposals, collateral, conceptual, print and digital graphics
Collaborate with the CD and PM to define design goals, expectations, tasks, and schedules
Follow a product workflow and timeline to ensure projects progress in a timely manner
Ability to adhere to pre-designed templates, style guides, packaging systems, and strict production guidelines
Maintain an organized server, file systems, and adhere to consistent file naming conventions
Meticulous review of marked-up proofs from business partners
Work on multiple projects simultaneously
Ensure design standards and brand guidelines are followed appropriately by using good judgment and leveraging Department Directors for council as needed
Prepare and deliver image assets for web, email, paid marketing, blog, social, and other digital communication channels.
Occasionally create new imagery and assets, within Synchrony’s existing brand standards. Work within and advocate for the production constraints of each channel. Identify new constraints we hadn’t understood before.
Ensure industry lead by maintaining a working knowledge of current and emerging technologies. Provide input on new equipment purchases and willingness to beta test new platforms as needed.
Qualifications/Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Digital Design, Graphic Design, HCI (Human Computer Interaction), or related field, OR in lieu of degree, a high school diploma and 4+ years of work experience in an agency environment or as an agency contractor
4+ years of experience in delivering high quality powerpoint design, email design, digital design, motion, interactive work in a fast paced agency and/or production environment.
Expert knowledge of modern digital design tools: Adobe XD, Sketch, Figma, Adobe After Effects, Adobe Premiere, Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator (Workfront is a plus)
Proven HTML, HTML 5, CSS, and Javascript skills.
Amenable to work from 8:00 PM to 5:00 AM PHT.
Amenable to be under a third party agency.
• Reside within 100km proximity distance that can be traveled by land at most 4 hours from Alabang, Muntinlupa City.
Desired Characteristics:
Knowledge of all steps required in the creative development process
Experience with Google Web Designer, Google. Studio are a plus
Cinema 4D experience and Digital illustration skills are a plus.
Working knowledge of design, brand development and overall creative process
Able to manage a high volume of projects with constantly changing deadlines
Detail oriented: Able to multi-task, prioritize, problem solve and work independently
Excellent problem-solving, planning and organizational skills
Team player, flexible and fast thinker, especially during critical or stressful times
The ability to communicate clearly and persuasively with your team, managers and clients
