Equipment Engineer

Job Overview

As an Equipment Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting new production line setup, equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement to ensure stable production, reduced downtime, and improved equipment efficiency.

Job Responsibilities

1. Responsible for new production line setup, including equipment installation, commissioning, evaluation, acceptance, and ensuring timely project delivery.

2. Develop and implement equipment maintenance plans, lead failure analysis, downtime improvement, and OEE improvement activities.

3. Drive equipment technical upgrades, process capability improvement, and yield improvement initiatives.

4. Participate in failure analysis and improvement actions for customer complaints related to defective products or project issues.

5. Control and optimize costs related to tools, fixtures, and equipment maintenance.

6. Work closely with production, process, quality, and other related departments to ensure stable equipment performance and continuous improvement.

Job Requirements

1. Bachelor’s Degree or above in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Automation, Mechatronics, or related fields.

2. Minimum 2 years of equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, or improvement experience in a large-scale electronics manufacturing environment.

3. Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical fundamentals.

4. Familiar with mechanical principles, mechanical drawings, tolerance analysis, and engineering problem-solving methods.

5. Proficiency in SolidWorks or other relevant engineering design software will be an added advantage.

6. Candidates with experience in the lithium battery, electronics, semiconductor, or automation industry will be preferred.

7. Strong problem-solving skills, hands-on attitude, and willingness to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

8. Able to accept challenges and adapt to a performance-driven working culture.
