Job Summary
We are a rapidly growing manufacturing company specializing in flexible packaging solutions. We are seeking a dynamic, result-oriented, and highly strategic Sales Manager to lead our commercial operations. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the sales team, developing market penetration strategies, maintaining and expanding our B2B client portfolio (FMCG, Food & Beverage, Pharmaceuticals, Cosmetics, etc.), and driving revenue growth to achieve company objectives.
Job Requirements
Male / Female
Minimum Bachelor’s Degree (S1) in Business, Marketing, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in B2B Sales/Marketing, with at least 3-5 years in a managerial role specifically within the Flexible Packaging industry (plastic packaging products)
Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding annual sales targets.
Technical Skills:
Understanding of flexible packaging products, material types (PET, OPP, Nylon, Alufoil, PE, etc.), and production processes (rotogravure/flexo printing, lamination, slitting, bag-making).
Possess a wide and established network with FMCG companies, food & beverage manufacturers, pharmaceutical, or cosmetics industries & others
Strong proficiency in managing complex B2B sales cycles and negotiating high-value commercial contracts.
Soft Skills:
Strong leadership capabilities with a proven ability to mentor, motivate, and manage the performance of a sales team.
Excellent market analysis, sales forecasting, and data-driven decision-making skills.
Outstanding communication and presentation skills in English and Bahasa Indonesia (proficiency in Mandarin is a strong advantage).
Must possess a valid driver’s license (SIM A) and be willing to travel frequently for client visits and business trips.
Familiarity with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) or SAP Sales module.
Job Responsibilities
Sales Strategy: Formulate, implement, and evaluate short-term and long-term sales strategies to increase market share and profitability.
Team Management: Lead, train, and monitor the daily activities of the sales team to ensure individual and team Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) are achieved.
Key Account Management: Build and maintain long-term, high-trust partnerships with key corporate accounts and promptly resolve client technical or commercial inquiries.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Align closely with Production, Quality Control (QC), R&D (Packaging Development), and Logistics departments to ensure product specifications match client requirements and orders are delivered on time.
Market Intelligence: Monitor market trends, competitor movements, raw material price fluctuations, and identify potential growth areas for new product developments.
Reporting: Prepare and present monthly/annual sales performance reports and accurate revenue forecasting to the senior management team.
