Job Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Minimum 5 years of experience as a Mechanical Engineer in industrial/process plant, chemical plant, petrochemical, oil & gas, power plant, or similar projects.
Strong knowledge of mechanical equipment, piping systems, and industrial plant engineering.
Able to read and review PFDs, P&IDs, GA Drawings, Isometric Drawings, and mechanical drawings.
Familiar with international engineering standards such as ASME, API, ANSI, and ISO.
Good coordination, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and engineering software such as AutoCAD; familiarity with Plant 3D, AVEVA, PDMS, or similar software is an advantage.
Willing to be assigned to project sites as required.
Job Description
Review and develop mechanical engineering designs for industrial/process plant projects.
Prepare and review technical specifications, equipment datasheets, and engineering calculations.
Coordinate with Process, Piping, Civil, Electrical, and Instrument engineers to ensure integrated project execution.
Review mechanical equipment selection, including pumps, compressors, pressure vessels, heat exchangers, and piping systems.
Provide technical support during procurement, construction, installation, commissioning, and project handover.
Ensure all mechanical designs comply with applicable codes, standards, and project specifications.
Identify technical issues and recommend effective engineering solutions throughout the project lifecycle.
