Operational & Manufacturing Lead

Job Description

As the Operational & Manufacturing Lead at HiFeed Climate Tech Ventures, you will oversee end-to-end field operations and manufacturing activities, from forage planting and land cultivation to the production of complete feed, pellets, and silage. You will be responsible for driving operational excellence, managing production outputs, ensuring sustainability standards, and leading cross-functional teams to support our mission of decarbonizing cattle farming. Strong project management and leadership skills are critical for success in this role.

Job Responsibilities

Lead and manage operational activities related to land preparation, forage planting, and field cultivation.

• Oversee manufacturing processes for complete feed, pellet, and silage production to ensure quality, efficiency, and sustainability targets are met.
• Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for both field and factory operations.
• Plan and execute operational and production schedules in alignment with company goals.
• Lead project management activities, including resource planning, timeline tracking, and milestone delivery.
• Manage and supervise multi-disciplinary teams: field workers, machine operators, production staff.
• Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) across operations and manufacturing.
• Maintain strong collaboration with R&D, Procurement, and Sustainability teams.
• Ensure compliance with environmental regulations, safety standards, and food/feed manufacturing certifications (e.g., GMP, HACCP).
• Plan and ptimize budgets on operational costs, driving efficiency through lean practices.
• Report regularly to the executive team on operational, production, and project progress.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture, Agronomy, Industrial Engineering, Animal Feed Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Food Processing, or related fields.
• 7+ years of experience managing operations and/or manufacturing in agriculture, feed production, or food processing industries.
• Proven track record in project management: planning, executing, and delivering complex operational projects successfully.
• Strong leadership skills with experience managing diverse operational and production teams.
• Deep understanding of regenerative agriculture, sustainable farming practices, and feed manufacturing processes.
• Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), HACCP, and ISO standards.
• Hands-on experience with agricultural machinery, production equipment, and supply chain coordination.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
• Data-driven mindset with attention to operational metrics, costs, and continuous improvement.
• Willing to work on-site at field locations and manufacturing facilities, with occasional travel as required.
• Passion for climate technology, agriculture-farming sustainability, and innovation.
• Resides in Lampung or ready to relocate to Lampung
