A shipyard company of Solid Indonesia, located in Batam, Indonesia, is seeking a qualified and experienced Project Manager to lead shipbuilding, ship repair, docking, and marine fabrication projects while ensuring operational excellence, timely project delivery, and compliance with industry standards.
Job Requirements – Project Manager (Shipyard)
- Bachelor’s Degree in Naval Architecture, Marine Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or other related disciplines.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in shipyard/shipbuilding industry, including experience handling new building, ship repair, docking, or marine fabrication projects as a Project Manager.
- Strong knowledge in project management, project scheduling, cost control, manpower management, and cross-functional coordination with subcontractors and stakeholders.
- Good technical understanding of hull construction, piping systems, mechanical, electrical, commissioning, and marine classification standards such as BKI, ABS, DNV, or Lloyd’s Register.
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, communication, and decision-making skills with the ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.
- Willing to be placed in Batam.
