Technician (Palembang & Jawa Timur Area)

Job Description:

• The Technician is responsible for the connection of wires to circuit breakers, transformers, or other components. When the work has been completed the Technician then must inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair, and to ensure compliance with codes.

• To coordinate with Project Engineer for site survey (check span, elevation, road access, JSA, work method, etc)

• To Installs, repairs, and maintains motors, transformers, generators, circuits, wiring, and other electrical system equipment and components in compliance with electrical codes, standards, and regulations.

• To study plans, drawings, specifications, and work orders to determine work requirement and sequence of repairs and/or installations

• To make sure that everything is installed in a safe manner that will not present harm or danger to the general public or private individuals.

• To make sure that all Installation QC sheet is reviewed and attached in the PMDB

• Together with Project Engineer, conduct a testing and commissioning and test load of the project after finished installation and wiring.

• Together with Project Engineer to seek approval of Project handover document by customer.

• Ensure man hour sheet is submitted to Assistant PM lately on 25th every month. The man hour should reflect the actual working hour related to a project network.

• To make installation report and seek the sign from the customer and/or Project Engineer. With a clear customer name, project details, date, and time / duration of work and description of activity.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum SMK/STM (Vocational High School) graduate in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or an equivalent field.

• Preferably at least 1 year of experience in project or production roles within the heavy industry, metal industry, or material handling industry;
