Geologist
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Geologist to join our mining team. This role will be responsible for geological studies, mineral exploration, resource evaluation, and providing technical support for mining operations and project development.
The successful candidate will work closely with both office-based and site-based teams and must be willing to work in Jakarta as well as travel to project sites when required.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct geological mapping, sampling, and field investigations.
Perform mineral exploration and resource evaluation activities.
Analyze geological data and prepare technical reports.
Review and interpret drilling results, geological models, and exploration data.
Support mine planning and operational geology activities.
Conduct geological studies and provide recommendations for mining projects.
Provide geological input and technical support for tender submissions and project proposals.
Assist in preparing technical documents, geological reports, cost estimations, and presentations for tender processes.
Collaborate with engineering, mining, and project teams to support business development initiatives.
Support project feasibility studies and due diligence activities.
Ensure compliance with company standards and industry regulations.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Geology or a related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in mining, mineral exploration, geological consulting, or related industries.
Experience working on coal, nickel, gold, or other mining projects.
Experience supporting mining tenders, project proposals, or feasibility studies is highly preferred.
Willing to work both in Jakarta and at project sites as required.
Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
Mandarin proficiency is highly preferred and will be considered a strong advantage.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and geological software applications.
