We are currently seeking a qualified and experienced IT Engineer (Network & Service Desk) to join our team at the plant located in Labuhanbatu, North Sumatera.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Minimum of 7 years of relevant work experience.
Solid knowledge of Windows Server, Linux, storage solutions, business applications, cloud services, server virtualization, data backup, and business continuity practices.
Hands-on experience with one or more of the following tools and platforms:
Microsoft Ecosystem: Microsoft 365, OneDrive, Teams
Business Applications: Microsoft SharePoint, Microsoft Dynamics Navision 4.02 & NAV 2018
BI Tools: Microsoft Power BI
Others: Microsoft SQL Services, Power Automate, Power Query, Role Tailored Client (RTC) development (including page/report creation in Visual Studio)
What do we expect from you?
Set up, configure, and maintain network hardware and software including routers, switches, firewalls, and network operating systems.
Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues related to connectivity, security, and overall performance.
Implement and manage network security protocols to guard against malware, hacking, and unauthorized access.
Provide end-user technical support, addressing queries and resolving hardware/software issues efficiently.
Manage and fulfill service requests by coordinating with IT teams and ensuring timely resolution.
Ensure users are adequately trained and supported in the effective use of IT systems and tools to enhance their productivity.
