Job Title: Operations Supervisor – Bar
Job Responsibilities
- Supervise the daily operations of the bar and ensure smooth service during operating hours.
- Monitor staff attendance, scheduling, grooming, and overall performance.
- Ensure excellent customer service by addressing guest concerns and resolving complaints professionally.
- Coordinate with bartenders, servers, cashiers, and other team members to maintain efficient operations.
- Monitor inventory levels, oversee stock requisitions, and prevent product shortages and wastage.
- Ensure proper handling, storage, and accountability of beverages, supplies, and equipment.
- Implement and enforce company policies, operational standards, and service procedures.
- Conduct regular staff briefings, coaching, and on-the-job training to improve team performance.
- Prepare daily operational reports, incident reports, and inventory updates for management.
- Ensure compliance with health, sanitation, safety, and liquor regulations.
- Monitor cleanliness and overall appearance of the bar, storage areas, and guest service areas.
- Coordinate with the HR and Management Team regarding employee concerns, disciplinary matters, and operational improvements.
- Assist in planning promotions, events, and special activities to maximize sales and customer satisfaction.
- Maintain a safe, organized, and positive working environment for all employees.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Tourism, or a related field is preferred.
- At least 2–3 years of supervisory experience in a bar, nightclub, restaurant, hotel, or similar hospitality establishment.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of bar operations, beverage service, inventory management, and cash handling.
- Ability to lead and motivate a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Capable of handling customer concerns and operational issues professionally.
- Proficient in preparing reports and using Microsoft Office applications.
- Willing to work on shifting schedules, weekends, holidays, and late-night operations.
- Can work under pressure and maintain high operational standards.
