Reservation Agent

About the role

Tjendana Corporation is seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused Reservation Agent to join our Tour & Travel team in Kuta, Bali. This is a full-time position based on-site in our Kuta location. As a Reservation Agent, you will be the vital link between our guests and their holiday experiences, managing bookings, enquiries, and ensuring exceptional customer service from the moment a reservation is made.

Key responsibilities

• Processing accommodation reservations via phone, email, online booking systems and walk-in enquiries

• Confirming bookings and managing reservation details in the property management system with precision and attention to detail

• Handling amendments, cancellations and special requests from guests in a professional and courteous manner

• Maintaining accurate records of all reservations and guest information whilst adhering to data protection protocols

• Resolving guest concerns and complaints professionally, escalating issues to management when necessary

• Promoting additional services and packages to maximise revenue opportunities

What we're looking for

• Proven experience working in a reservation, booking or customer service role within the hospitality or tourism industry

• Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal; multilingual abilities are highly advantageous

• Proficiency with reservation systems, property management software and Microsoft Office applications

• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple bookings and enquiries simultaneously

• Exceptional customer service mindset with a genuine passion for delivering outstanding guest experiences

• Accuracy and attention to detail when processing reservations and maintaining records

• Ability to remain calm and professional when handling difficult situations or demanding guests

• Flexible approach to working hours, including potential shifts during peak seasons and weekends

• Knowledge of Bali tourism attractions and accommodation options would be beneficial

• High school diploma or equivalent qualification
