QC Incoming & Outgoing

About the role

PT Textil Lintas Indonesia is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented QC Incoming and Outgoing professional to join our Quality Assurance and Control team. This is a full-time position based in Kosambi, Banten, where you will play a crucial role in maintaining the highest standards of quality across our textile manufacturing operations. You will be responsible for inspecting both incoming raw materials and outgoing finished products to ensure they meet our stringent quality specifications and industry standards. This role is essential to our commitment to delivering excellence to our customers and maintaining our reputation as a leading textile manufacturer.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct thorough inspections of incoming raw materials and components, verifying specifications, quality, and compliance with purchase orders
• Perform comprehensive quality checks on outgoing finished textile products before shipment to customers
• Document all quality control findings, including defects, variances, and non-conformances, in accordance with company procedures
• Identify and segregate defective materials and products, communicating issues to relevant departments for corrective action
• Operate quality control equipment and testing instruments, including scales, measuring tools, and visual inspection equipment
• Maintain detailed records and reports of QC activities, test results, and quality metrics
• Collaborate with production, purchasing, and logistics teams to resolve quality issues and prevent defects
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to maintaining ISO and other quality management standards
• Conduct visual and dimensional inspections to ensure products meet design specifications and customer requirements
• Report quality trends and recommend corrective and preventive actions to management

What we're looking for

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in quality control or textile manufacturing is preferred
• Proven experience in quality control, quality assurance, or inspection roles within manufacturing environments, preferably in textiles
• Strong knowledge of quality control procedures, inspection techniques, and sampling methods
• Proficiency in using quality control equipment and measurement instruments
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify defects and inconsistencies
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and quality standards
• Strong organisational and record-keeping skills, with the ability to maintain accurate documentation
• Good communication skills and ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift materials as required
• Knowledge of textile fibres, fabrics, and manufacturing processes is beneficial
