The Opportunity
As a Junior QA Engineer at Snef, you will ensure that our cutting-edge web applications—built with Next.js, Node.js, and TypeScript—deliver seamless, engaging experiences for our creator community. You’ll be at the forefront of ensuring platform quality, helping creators monetize their work, access premium brand opportunities, and harness powerful AI-driven automation. What You’ll DoManual & Functional Testing:
Perform functional, integration, regression, and UAT testing across our web applications.
Validate new features and enhancements, ensuring a frictionless user experience for creators.
Test Automation & CI/CD Integration:
Develop, maintain, and optimize automated test scripts using TypeScript-based frameworks (e.g., Cypress, Selenium WebDriver).
Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions) to ensure continuous, reliable quality checks.
API & Performance Testing:
Test RESTful services using Postman or similar tools, guaranteeing reliable, scalable API endpoints.
(Nice to have) Support performance testing using JMeter to ensure our platform scales with our creators’ growth.
Defect Management & Collaboration:
Log, track, and manage defects using tools like JIRA or TestRail.
Work closely with developers, product managers, and UX designers to refine requirements, address issues, and deliver elegant solutions that meet our creators’ needs.
Agile & Continuous Improvement:
Participate in Agile ceremonies—daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives—to ensure transparent communication and iterative progress.
Stay updated with industry trends, AI-driven testing methods, and emerging best practices, continually seeking ways to enhance our testing processes.
Manual & Functional Testing:

Requirements
What We’re Looking ForExperience & Skills:
2+ years of combined manual and automation testing experience.
Proven expertise in testing web applications built with Next.js, Node.js, and TypeScript.
Proficiency in TypeScript-based automation tools (Cypress or similar) and integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines.
Experience with bug tracking/test management tools (JIRA, TestRail).
Technical Knowledge:
Solid understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies.
Familiarity with version control (Git) and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
Soft Skills:
Detail-oriented mindset and a passion for quality.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Collaborative spirit and adaptability in a fast-paced startup environment.
Nice-to-Haves:
