Manager Finance

Embark on an exciting journey as a Finance Leader and be at the forefront of shaping the financial landscape for our logistics business. Join us as a Manager Finance, reporting to the Director – Finance - Indonesia – APAC. This position manages the logistics finance portfolio for Indonesia and Timor Leste and is based in Jakarta, Indonesia.

Key Responsibilities:

• You will be the trusted advisor to business unit leaders. 

• Manage a small team and develop staff to ensure competency and appropriate succession within the Finance/accounting team. 

• Provide leadership and create a rewarding, highly collaborative team-based culture, including mentorship and development of staff. 

• Work with the regional/global finance team to prepare accurate, timely and reliable monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports required by management and other stakeholders. 

• Build, maintain, and scale robust financial models to support strategic forecasting, budgeting, and commercial decision-making. 

• Develop and implement standards, procedures, internal controls, and processes in accordance with relevant accounting standards, legal regulatory and company policies and procedures. 

• Preparation of budgets and forecasting and statutory and internal audits; and tax reporting and compliance. 

• Build and maintain trusting relationships with all the stakeholders in the business. 

• Analyze revenue, expenses, cash flows, and balance sheets for Senior management team. 

• Maintain an accurate filing and record-keeping system for all financial statements and company documents. 

• Act as the functional lead in the implementation of the new ERP system, leveraging a tech-savvy approach to optimize financial workflows and data architecture. 

• Manage the annual internal/external audit process. 

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

• Prior Big 4 experience and Chartered Certified Accountant – ACCA certified or equivalent. 

• Minimum 7 years’ experience from multinational companies and/or Logistics/Freight-forwarding industries. 

• Possess strong business acumen, with the ability to balance commercial and financial considerations to deliver commercial solutions. 

• Experience in finance, with a focus on financial analysis, budgeting, and business partnering. 

• Tech-savvy professional with a strong understanding of how modern finance systems, automation, and data structures integrate into a multinational business. 

• Experience with major ERP systems required (Oracle Fusion preferred) and strong exposure to IFRS. 

• Advanced proficiency in Excel, with a proven track record of handling complex formulas, data manipulation, and building sophisticated corporate financial models. 

• Ability to translate complex financial concepts into clear, actionable insights. 

• Inspiring leader with the ability to mentor and develop a high-performing team. 

• Excellent communication skills in both Bahasa and English languages. 

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and collaboration skills, with a natural mentality for breaking down silos and working cross-functionally across diverse regional teams. 

• Pro-active with the ability to manage priorities, be organized, methodical and deal well under pressure.
