Job Summary

A Sales Associate at a vape store is responsible for providing excellent customer service, assisting customers in selecting vape products and accessories, maintaining product knowledge, processing sales transactions, and ensuring the store remains clean, organized, and compliant with applicable laws and regulations regarding the sale of age-restricted products.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide friendly, knowledgeable assistance.
• Recommend vape devices, e-liquids, coils, pods, batteries, and accessories based on customer needs and preferences.
• Explain product features, usage, maintenance, and safety guidelines.
• Verify customers' age and ensure compliance with all local laws and store policies regarding the sale of vape products.
• Process cash, card, and other payment transactions accurately.
• Restock shelves, organize merchandise, and ensure product displays are attractive and well-maintained.
• Monitor inventory levels and report low-stock items to management.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sales floor and storage areas.
• Handle customer inquiries, returns, and complaints professionally in accordance with store policies.
• Stay informed about new products, promotions, and industry trends.
• Assist with opening and closing store procedures.
• Promote current sales, loyalty programs, and special offers to customers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• Previous retail or customer service experience is an advantage.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic math skills and experience handling cash transactions.
• Ability to learn and explain technical product information.
• Dependable, honest, and customer-focused.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
