HR Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced HR Manager to join PT Xinhai Knitting Indonesia in a full-time capacity. Based in Brebes, Jawa Tengah, this is a strategic human resources position that will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing our people management strategy. As HR Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of human resources operations, ensuring alignment with our organisational objectives and fostering a positive, productive workplace culture. This role reports directly to senior management and is essential to driving our company's success through effective talent management and organisational development.

Key responsibilities

1. Develop and implement comprehensive human resources strategies and policies that align with company objectives and support business growth

2. Oversee recruitment and selection processes, including job posting, candidate screening, interviewing, and onboarding of new employees

3. Manage employee relations, including performance management, disciplinary procedures, and conflict resolution

4. Administer compensation and benefits programmes, ensuring competitiveness and compliance with local regulations

5. Conduct training needs assessments and coordinate professional development programmes for staff across all levels

6. Ensure compliance with Indonesian labour laws, regulations, and company policies

7. Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation in accordance with legal requirements

8. Develop and maintain positive employee engagement initiatives to promote workplace morale and retention

9. Prepare HR reports and metrics to support decision-making by senior management

10. Liaise with external parties, including recruitment agencies, training providers, and legal advisors as required

What we're looking for

1. A minimum of 5 years' experience in human resources management, preferably in a manufacturing or textile industry setting

2. Strong knowledge of Indonesian employment law and labour regulations

3. Proven experience in recruitment, employee relations, and performance management

4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with employees at all levels

5. Proficiency in HR information systems and Microsoft Office applications

6. Demonstrated ability to develop and implement HR policies and procedures

7. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail

8. Experience in training and development programme design and delivery

9. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively

10. A strategic mindset with the ability to align HR initiatives with business goals

11. Fluency in both Indonesian and English is preferred
