PT Aum Yoga Retreat is seeking an Resort Assistant Manager to join our dynamic hospitality team in Ubud, Bali. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in ensuring exceptional guest experiences from the moment of booking through to departure. You will be instrumental in managing our reservations operations and fostering strong guest relationships, directly contributing to the success and reputation of our wellness retreat centre. This role combines operational management with guest-facing responsibilities, requiring both organisational excellence and genuine hospitality service skills.

What you'll be doing
Supervise and oversee the reservation operations, ensuring all booking enquiries via email, telephone, and online platforms are handled efficiently, professionally, and in accordance with company standards.
Support the Resort Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the resort, ensuring exceptional guest experiences and smooth coordination across all departments.
Monitor reservation activities and guest communication to ensure booking accuracy, timely responses, and compliance with company service standards.
Oversee guest arrivals and departures, ensuring check-in, check-out, and overall guest interactions are delivered efficiently and professionally.
Act as the primary point of contact for escalated guest concerns, resolving issues promptly while maintaining high levels of guest satisfaction and service recovery.
Coordinate closely with Housekeeping, Front Office, Wellness, Food & Beverage, and other operational departments to ensure seamless guest experiences.
Supervise the Reservations and Guest Relations team, providing guidance, coaching, and performance support to maintain consistent service excellence.
Monitor occupancy levels, room availability, and operational readiness, working with relevant departments to maximise efficiency and guest satisfaction.
Review guest feedback and operational reports, identifying opportunities to improve service quality, operational efficiency, and guest loyalty.
Assist in implementing resort policies, SOPs, and service standards while ensuring compliance across operational teams.
Support revenue optimisation initiatives by identifying upselling opportunities, enhancing guest experiences, and contributing to occupancy and revenue targets.
Prepare operational reports, including occupancy, guest satisfaction, and departmental performance, and provide recommendations to support management decisions.
Act as the Manager on Duty when required, ensuring smooth day-to-day resort operations and serving as the main point of contact for guests and operational teams.
What we're looking for
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in hospitality management, preferably in a hotel, resort, or wellness retreat setting
Proven experience managing reservation systems and guest relations functions
Strong proficiency with property management systems (PMS) and reservation software
Excellent communication skills in English; proficiency in Indonesian and additional languages is advantageous
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously whilst maintaining attention to detail
Exceptional customer service skills with a genuine passion for creating memorable guest experiences
Problem-solving abilities and the capacity to remain calm under pressure
Organisational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritise effectively
Experience in team supervision and staff training
Knowledge of the wellness, yoga, or hospitality industry is preferred
Proficiency in Google Workspace and digital communication platforms
A positive, professional demeanour with strong interpersonal skills
