We are seeking a high-caliber Head of Procurement Sourcing with a specialized focus on Strategic Sourcing and Raw Materials. In this role, you will lead our efforts in securing critical commodities, specifically packaging categories. You will be responsible for navigating volatile market trends to ensure cost-efficiency, supply security, and uncompromising quality.
As a Manager, you will transition beyond transactional purchasing to drive value through global sourcing strategies, technical material expertise, and robust vendor partnerships.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Sourcing: Lead end-to-end sourcing for paper-based materials (Kraft, Duplex, specialty papers) and printing consumables.
Market Intelligence: Monitor global pulp and paper price indexes (e.g., RISI, FOEX) to optimize procurement timing and hedging.
Supply Chain Resilience: Develop a robust multi-sourcing framework for local and international paper mills to ensure zero production downtime.
Cost Optimization: Drive Value Engineering by analyzing GSM, moisture content, and material alternatives to reduce costs without sacrificing quality.
Sustainability & Compliance: Ensure all paper sources comply with FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) standards and local/international regulations.
Data Analytics: Leverage ERP data and market trends to provide high-level spend visibility and forecasting for senior management.
Requirements:
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering, Management, or a related technical field.
Experience: Minimum 8 years in Procurement, with at least 3–5 years specialized in Paper Packaging or Printing industries.
Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of paper grades, grammage (GSM), bursting strength, and the offset/flexo printing process.
Contract Mastery: Expert in drafting long-term supply agreements with complex pricing formulas based on pulp indexes.
Systems: Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced Data Analytics (Excel/BI tools) for spend analysis.
Communication: Full professional proficiency in English (essential for international mill negotiations).
Leadership: Strong strategic thinking and professional integrity.
Location: Willing to be placed in Gianyar, Bali.
