The Role

We're looking for a Packaging Designer to join our growing team in a highly regulated industry where no two days are the same!

This role is focused on packaging and production artwork, ensuring our brands consistently show up at their best. You'll be the go-to person for artwork creation, packaging updates, production-ready files, and design execution, helping bring products to market accurately and efficiently.

This is a role for someone who enjoys balancing creativity with precision and takes pride in delivering high-quality work in a fast-moving environment.

What You'll Be Doing

Artwork Production

• Create and update packaging artwork files

• Implement approved packaging amendments

• Prepare production-ready artwork for suppliers

Operational Support

• Handle day-to-day packaging maintenance tasks

• Support urgent artwork updates and revisions

• Assist with packaging implementation activities

Version Control & Administration

• Maintain artwork file organisation

• Update version histories and packaging databases

• Archive superseded artwork

Quality & Compliance Support

• Conduct preliminary artwork quality checks

• Ensure artwork follows approved templates and standards

• Support compliance implementation tasks

What You'll Bring

• Experience in graphic design, packaging design, artwork production, or a similar role.

• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop.

• Experience preparing artwork for commercial print and packaging production.

• Understanding of print specifications, pre-press requirements, and production processes.

• Exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills.

• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.

• Confidence working independently and making decisions when required.

• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with stakeholders, suppliers, and cross-functional teams.

• Experience working with FMCG, retail, consumer goods, or regulated products is advantageous.
