Job Role
The Operations Manager is responsible for leading and optimizing the organization's end-to-end operational functions, ensuring business processes, operational policies, and cross-functional execution support the company's continued growth.
Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), this role will oversee operational excellence across multiple business functions, establish standardized operating procedures (SOPs), improve workflow efficiency, and foster collaboration between Sales, Product, Technology, Finance, and Customer Support teams. The successful candidate will play a critical role in scaling operations, driving continuous process improvement, and building a high-performance operational culture.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and oversee end-to-end business operations to ensure efficient daily execution and organizational scalability.
Design, implement, maintain, and continuously improve operational policies, standardized operating procedures (SOPs), and workflow frameworks.
Build, manage, coach, and develop high-performing operations teams while promoting accountability and operational excellence.
Collaborate closely with Sales, Product, Technology, Finance, and Customer Support departments to ensure alignment of operational execution with business objectives.
Monitor operational performance, identify process inefficiencies, and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
Develop operational strategies that improve productivity, service quality, and customer experience.
Manage departmental budgets and implement cost optimization initiatives while maintaining operational effectiveness.
Identify operational risks, bottlenecks, and execution gaps, implementing sustainable solutions to improve business performance.
Prepare operational reports, performance metrics, and recommendations for executive management.
Support organizational growth by developing scalable operational structures capable of supporting long-term business expansion.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Management, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or other related disciplines.
Minimum 5 years of managerial experience leading and scaling business operations within financial technology, payment solutions, software-as-a-service (SaaS), technology companies, digital platforms, or high-growth startup environments.
Proven experience managing cross-functional operational teams and implementing operational excellence initiatives.
Strong understanding of process design, workflow optimization, SOP development, and business process improvement methodologies.
Demonstrated experience managing operational budgets, resource planning, and cost-efficiency programs.
Excellent project management, organizational planning, and operational execution capabilities.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with the ability to identify operational risks and implement practical solutions.
Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, communication, and team development skills.
Professional proficiency in Mandarin for business communication and reporting is required.
Working proficiency in English for cross-functional collaboration and business communication.
Highly adaptable, proactive, solution-oriented, and capable of performing effectively within a fast-paced, high-growth business environment.
