Housekeeping Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Housekeeping Manager to join the team at Ametis Villa Bali. This is a full-time position based in Badung, Bali, where you will oversee all housekeeping operations and ensure the highest standards of cleanliness, comfort and service excellence throughout our luxury villa property. As Housekeeping Manager, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the exceptional guest experience that defines our brand and directly contribute to the overall success and reputation of the resort.

What you'll be doing

1. Supervising, training and managing the housekeeping team to ensure consistent delivery of premium cleaning and guest services standards

2. Developing and implementing housekeeping policies, procedures and protocols to maintain exceptional cleanliness and presentation across all villa areas

3. Conducting regular inspections of guest rooms, communal spaces and facilities to ensure compliance with quality standards and addressing any issues promptly

4. Managing the housekeeping budget, including procurement of cleaning supplies, equipment and uniforms, whilst maintaining cost efficiency

5. Scheduling staff shifts and managing staffing levels to ensure adequate coverage and operational continuity

6. Coordinating with other departments, including front office, maintenance and guest services, to ensure seamless operations and guest satisfaction

7. Addressing guest complaints or concerns related to housekeeping services and implementing corrective actions

8. Maintaining accurate records of inventory, maintenance issues and staff performance metrics

9. Ensuring compliance with health, safety and environmental regulations and promoting sustainable practices

10. Conducting staff training on cleaning techniques, guest service standards, safety protocols and company policies

What we're looking for

1. Proven experience of 3-5 years in a housekeeping management role within a luxury hotel, resort or similar hospitality establishment

2. Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and develop staff effectively

3. Excellent organisational and time management abilities to prioritise multiple tasks and manage operations efficiently

4. Comprehensive knowledge of housekeeping best practices, cleaning standards and guest service excellence

5. Attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation

6. Proficiency in housekeeping management systems and basic computer skills for record-keeping and reporting

7. Strong communication skills in English, with the ability to interact professionally with guests and staff at all levels

8. Problem-solving mindset with the ability to handle challenging situations calmly and professionally

9. Knowledge of health, safety and environmental compliance standards within the hospitality industry

10. Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and public holidays, as required by operational needs

11. Relevant hospitality management qualifications or certifications are preferred
