Job Description :
Lead the Mechanical Sewing team and daily engineering operations.
Ensure preventive and corrective maintenance of sewing machines.
Minimize machine downtime and improve equipment efficiency.
Troubleshoot mechanical issues and support production continuity.
Drive continuous improvement in machine performance and maintenance practices.
Conduct training sessions to bridge the identified skill gap of mechanics in order to have a strong pool of Mechanics.
Ensure all sewing/non-sewing machinery align with all Health, Safety and Compliance guidelines to maintain zero accidents.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
Experience in engineering or maintenance within a garment/apparel manufacturing environment.
Strong knowledge of sewing machines and garment production equipment.
Good leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Familiarity with TPM, Lean Manufacturing, or continuous improvement is an advantage.
Proficient in English, both spoken and written.
Prior experience in mechanical sewing in apparel manufacturing is an advantage.
