About the role

PT Gaya Ragam Moderen is seeking a Social Media Staff to join our dynamic creative team on a contract basis. This role is based in South Jakarta and offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to our advertising and media operations. As Social Media Staff, you will be instrumental in developing and executing our social media strategy across multiple platforms, helping to build brand awareness and engagement for our customers and our own organization.

What you'll be doing

  • Creating and curating engaging content for various social media platforms including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and LinkedIn

  • Developing and implementing social media campaigns that align with client and organizational objectives

  • Monitoring social media channels and responding to comments, messages, and inquiries in a timely manner

  • Analyzing social media performance metrics and providing insights to inform future strategy

  • Collaborating with account managers and creative teams to ensure consistent brand messaging

  • Managing social media calendars and scheduling posts across multiple platforms

  • Researching trending topics, hashtags, and social media best practices to keep campaigns fresh and relevant

  • Supporting the development of social media content pillars and content strategies for assigned accounts

  • Engaging with online communities and building meaningful relationships with followers

  • Assisting with influencer outreach and partnership opportunities where applicable

What we're looking for

  • Proven experience working in hospitality, five-star hotel and social media management, preferably within an advertising or creative agency environment.

  • Strong understanding of major social media platforms and their algorithms, best practices, and audience demographics

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to craft compelling content

  • Proficiency in social media management tools and analytics platforms

  • Creative thinking with the ability to generate innovative content ideas and campaign concepts

  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple accounts and projects simultaneously

  • Familiarity with graphic design software such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar tools is advantageous

  • Knowledge of current social media trends and digital marketing best practices

  • Ability to work collaboratively with team members and account managers

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, Communications, Media, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience

  • Fluency in Indonesian and English is essential; additional languages are a plus
