Quality Assurance Officer

• Conduct Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDI), Equipment Receiving Reports (ERR), and functionality testing.
• Review and validate inspection reports from QA Associates and Service Engineers.
• Ensure proper documentation of defects, repairs, and reconditioning.
• Monitor warranty periods, initiate warranty claims, and coordinate with suppliers.
• Implement preventive warm-up schedules and anti-rust procedures for parked equipment.
• Maintain detailed records of equipment conditions, defects, and corrective actions.
• Supervise QA staff and yard personnel to ensure adherence to safety protocols.
• Liaise with Service and Sales Departments regarding equipment readiness and customer turnover.
• Recommend continuous improvement actions for QA/QC processes.
• Conduct risk assessments and regular audits of storage yards and workshop facilities.
• Accept and perform such other function as maybe assigned by direct heads.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering.
• At least 5 years of experience in quality inspection or equipment testing within a heavy equipment or dealership setting.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001, inspection tools, and technical reporting
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Proficient in preparing quality reports, documentation, and compliance records.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills for cross-department coordination.
• High level of integrity and commitment to maintaining quality standards.
