The Software Development & IT Operations
Supervisor is responsible for overseeing software development support, IT
operations, system administration, and technical service management to ensure
the reliability, security, and efficiency of company systems. This role manages
software development activities, employee system access, Microsoft 365
administration, technical support operations, and coordination with internal
teams and external service providers.
The position ensures that business applications,
communication platforms, and IT systems are properly maintained, supported, and
continuously improved to meet organizational requirements.
Responsibilities:
Software Development Supervision and Application Support
• Supervise and provide direction to software developers in the design, development, maintenance, and enhancement of company applications and systems.
• Coordinate software development activities to ensure timely delivery of system improvements, fixes, and technical solutions.
• Review and assist in troubleshooting application issues, system errors, and technical concerns affecting business operations.
• Collaborate with business users and operations teams to identify system requirements and recommend appropriate solutions.
• Ensure proper documentation of system changes, technical procedures, and application-related activities.
IT Operations and User Access Management
• Manage the creation, modification, and deletion of employee accounts across company systems and applications.
• Administer company email accounts, Microsoft Teams accounts, and other collaboration platforms for employee onboarding, transfers, and offboarding.
• Manage user access permissions, roles, licenses, and system privileges based on company policies and security requirements.
• Ensure timely account deactivation and removal of access for resigned or inactive employees.
• Maintain accurate records of user accounts, system access, and IT operational activities.
Microsoft 365 and Collaboration Platform Administration
• Manage Microsoft 365 user accounts, licenses, and access configurations.
• Administer Microsoft Teams accounts, teams, channels, and permissions to support business collaboration.
• Provide technical support for email services, productivity tools, and other company communication platforms.
• Monitor availability and proper usage of collaboration tools and recommend improvements when necessary.
IT Operations Support and Incident Management
• Provide technical assistance and support to Operations Department, developers, and other internal users regarding system and application concerns.
• Monitor, investigate, and resolve IT-related incidents, service requests, and system issues.
• Coordinate with relevant teams to ensure timely resolution of technical problems.
• Identify recurring issues and recommend preventive actions or system improvements.
• Support IT operational procedures, system maintenance activities, and technology improvements.
Third-Party Integration and Vendor Coordination
• Communicate and coordinate with third-party service providers regarding system integrations, technical concerns, and service-related issues.
• Liaise with external partners, including payment gateways, financial technology platforms, banks, and other digital payment service providers, to facilitate troubleshooting and resolution of operational concerns.
• Monitor third-party system performance, integration status, and service availability.
• Coordinate with vendors and external providers for system updates, enhancements, and technical requirements.
• Ensure effective communication between internal teams, developers, operations personnel, and external partners.
Leadership, Security, and Compliance
• Supervise technical team members and provide guidance to ensure effective delivery of IT and software support services.
• Promote adherence to IT security policies, access control procedures, and best practices.
• Ensure confidentiality, integrity, and availability of company systems and data.
• Develop and maintain standard operating procedures, technical documentation, and operational guidelines.
• Prepare reports related to system performance, incidents, user access, and operational activities.
Job Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• Proven experience in software development, IT operations, system administration, or application support.
• Experience managing software development teams and technical support activities.
• Knowledge of Microsoft 365 administration, user account management, and collaboration tools.
• Familiarity with system integrations, APIs, payment platforms, and third-party service coordination.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and collaborate with different departments and external stakeholders.
• Experience in IT security, access management, and operational processes is an advantage.
