Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Biology, Biotechnology, Genomics, Life Sciences, Biomedical Engineering, Medical Laboratory Technology, or other related fields.
Minimum 2 years of experience in a medical device, laboratory equipment, life science, or biotechnology distribution company.
Strong understanding of molecular biology and sequencing technologies, particularly Next-Generation Sequencing (NGS), is an advantage.
Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
Strong analytical skills to identify market opportunities, evaluate customer needs, and monitor industry trends.
Proactive, adaptable, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-growing organization.
Willingness to work towards targets and the initiative to achieve optimal results.
Placement at Genomics Hub Building, South Jakarta
Responsibilities:
Identify, develop, and establish relationships with potential customers and business partners, including universities, research institutes, hospitals, biotechnology companies, pharmaceutical companies, and government research organizations.
Generate new business opportunities while maintaining long-term relationships with existing customers.
Promote and present Oxford Nanopore Technologies products, genomics solutions, and related services through customer visits, presentations, product demonstrations, seminars, and workshops.
Understand customer research objectives and recommend appropriate sequencing solutions, instruments, consumables, and services.
Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
Prepare quotations, negotiate commercial terms, and manage the sales process from prospecting through closing.
Collaborate closely with the technical support, application specialist, and operations teams to ensure excellent customer experience.
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies within the genomics, molecular diagnostics, and life science industries.
Maintain accurate sales reports, customer pipelines, forecasts, and business development activities.
Build strong knowledge of the company's products, competitors, and overall market positioning to effectively communicate Genomika Indonesia's value proposition.
