About InterOpera
InterOpera (https://www.interopera.co) is an AI First B2B Infrastructure Platform company building next-generation digital infrastructure for complex enterprise workflows. At the core of our platform is the Workflow DNA Engine, an AI-driven engine that models, automates, and optimizes mission-critical workflows across multiple industries, including financial services, manufacturing, commodities, energy, and sustainability. Rather than building single-purpose SaaS tools, InterOpera develops horizontal AI infrastructure that can be deployed across industries to power decision-making, compliance, operations, and intelligence at scale. Our platform is designed to become foundational digital infrastructure for enterprises operating in data-heavy and regulation-intensive environments.
About the Role
We are looking for a Product Architect / Product Manager based in Indonesia to drive the product strategy, architecture, and client-facing deployment of our AI workflow platform. This is a high-impact role ideal for a systems-thinker who excels at rapidly acquiring deep domain knowledge and translating complex enterprise workflows into scalable product architectures. You will heavily leverage AI tools to maximize productivity—rapidly generating product requirement documents (PRDs), system workflows, and highly realistic, data-driven wireframes. You will work closely with engineering, AI, and business teams to architect and deliver foundational product structures deployed across multiple industries and Tier-1 enterprise clients.
Key Responsibilities
Discovery & Customer Truth — the core of the role
Run real discovery: interview and observe enterprise users doing their actual work (not guided demos). Separate what users say from what they do
Find the real problem behind the requested feature. Distinguish interest from adoption, and opinion from evidence.
Map the customer's current workaround — the spreadsheets, the manual reconciliation, the "answer key" they keep on the side — and quantify what it costs them.
Product Definition & Delivery
Write crisp problem statements, PRDs, and acceptance criteria that an engineer can build from and a stakeholder can sign off on.
Prioritize ruthlessly: decide what ships first and what doesn't, and defend the tradeoff with reasoning, not vibes.
Define success and guardrail metrics up front, then track whether the thing you shipped actually moved them.
Drive delivery with engineering and AI teams — unblock, sequence, and make the calls that keep momentum.
AI-Native Product Judgment
Decide where AI should act autonomously and where a human must review or approve (HITL gates) — and the criterion for each.Act as a trusted product consultant, translating customer feedback into actionable product features and architectural improvements.
Protect the product's core guarantees: which outputs must be deterministic and traceable, and where the AI is allowed to be generative.
Make AI quality legible to non-technical customers: provenance, citations, confidence, and reconciliation that an enterprise user (or an auditor) can trust.
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Customer Engagement
Be the bridge between technical teams and client-facing reality; translate ambiguous client needs into clear execution.
Support pilots, PoCs, and production deployments with enterprise clients across the region.
Turn deployment feedback into the next iteration.
Requirements
At least 3 years in product management shipping B2B or enterprise software that real customers depend on. (Strong candidates from solutions/implementation, technical product, or analyst backgrounds who have clearly owned product outcomes will be considered.)
Demonstrated discovery skill — you can show how you found a non-obvious problem through interviews and observation, and how that changed what got built.
Strong product writing — problem statements, PRDs, and decision memos that are clear, structured, and persuasive in English
Prioritization under ambiguity — you make and defend scope calls with explicit tradeoffs and success metrics.
Comfort with technical and AI concepts — you can reason about data pipelines, retrieval, LLM behavior, and where AI is trustworthy, without needing to write the code.
Excellent English communication (written and verbal). Bahasa Indonesia is a plus.
Strongly Preferred
Product experience with AI / ML / data products — especially where output quality, evaluation, or trust mattered.
Experience in a regulated or document-heavy domain: financial services, fund administration, real estate, audit/compliance, RegTech.
Comfort with lo-fi prototyping (Figma, v0, clickable slides, or equivalent) to communicate a flow.
Nice to Have (Bonus)
Exposure to AI-native concepts: RAG, knowledge graphs, agentic workflows, human-in-the-loop design, AI evaluation.
Light data fluency — you can pull and reason about usage data or write a simple query to answer a product question.
Founder-adjacent or 0→1 experience in a fast-moving startup.
What This Role Is Not
A pure visual/UX design role. We previously framed this role around design; we have refocused it on product management. If your strength and passion is visual design craft, this is not the right fit — and that's okay.
A feature-factory PM role. We do not want someone to administer a backlog; we want someone to own outcomes.
Mindset & Culture Fit
Customer-obsessed and evidence-driven — you go find the truth instead of defending a guess.
Outcome-oriented — you measure success by adoption and business impact, not features shipped.
Initiative-driven self-starter — adaptable to a fast-paced startup with shifting priorities; growth mindset.
Intellectually honest — you say what you don't know, surface tradeoffs, and change your mind when the evidence does.
Work Environment
High-intensity startup: fast-paced, demanding — we ship fast and iterate faster. Occasional weekend work when launches require it.
What We Offer
Competitive salary commensurate with experience (IDR-based), plus performance bonus.
Meaningful equity — own a real piece of what you build.
Direct ownership of product on the AI-Native platform powering enterprise decisions across the region.
A small, senior, ambitious team where your work is visible and your impact is measurable.
Learning budget for conferences, courses, and books.
InterOpera is an equal-opportunity employer. We hire on merit and value diverse perspectives in building intelligent infrastructure for the enterprise.
