Position Summary:
The Process and Systems Analyst is responsible for analyzing and improving business processes, managing information systems, developing reports and dashboards, ensuring data accuracy, and providing management with timely and reliable information for decision-making. The role bridges business operations and technology by identifying process improvements, supporting system enhancements, and maintaining management information systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Process Analysis and Improvement:
- Analyze existing business processes and workflows to identify inefficiencies and improvement opportunities.
- Document and maintain process maps, procedures, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance productivity and operational efficiency.
- Monitor process performance and identify areas for continuous improvement.
Systems Analysis and Administration
- Gather, analyze, and document business and system requirements.
- Coordinate with Tech teams, vendors, and stakeholders for system enhancements and implementations.
- Support system testing, troubleshooting, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Ensure business systems operate efficiently and meet organizational requirements.
- Assist in system integration and automation initiatives.
Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Develop, maintain, and automate management reports and dashboards.
- Generate periodic operational, financial, and performance reports for management.
- Analyze business data and provide actionable insights.
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across systems.
- Maintain databases and reporting tools.
- Collect, validate, and consolidate data from multiple sources.
- Perform data analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
Qualifications
Technical Skills:
- Knowledgeable in workflow design and process improvement.
- Familiar with process mapping techniques (flowcharts, BPM) and creation of technical documentation such as SOPs and system/process guides.
- Basic understanding of Artificial Intelligence, particularly Agentic AI concepts and how AI can support automation and decision-making.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets, including:
-- VBA (Visual Basic for Applications)
-- Google Apps Script
-- Automation of reports, dashboards, and workflows
- Strong capability in data handling, cleaning, and reporting for MIS purposes.
- Experience or exposure to dashboard tools (e.g., Power BI or similar BI tools) is a plus.
Soft Skills:
- Fast learner with strong adaptability to new systems, tools, and processes.
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive mindset for process improvement.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment while managing multiple tasks.
- High attention to detail with strong accuracy in reporting and documentation.
- Good communication skills with the ability to coordinate effectively with different teams and stakeholders.
